We are looking for applicants with previous commercial production baking experience for our Bakery Production Plant. The position consists of preparing a variety of baked goods such as donuts, breads, cakes, pies and pastries in large quantities.
Applicants must be able to follow established recipes and preparation instructions and use commercial mixers, deep fryers, proofers, dough dividers and sheeters, ovens, baker’s racks, and dishwasher. The applicant must be able to learn and memorize a considerable amount of information. The work environment is fast paced, physically demanding and requires the ability to multi-task various baking products to meet company production needs. Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful.
Applicants must have previous production baking experience in a commercial kitchen setting. No recreational or home bakers will be considered. Applicants without the required previous work experience should not apply.
Job Type – Full-time or Part-time, Non-exempt
Work shifts for this position are evening shifts.
Pay: $16.50 to $19.75 per hour based on applicable work experience

Ability to accurately measure and/or weigh various ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, and fillings using commercial scales and measuring equipment.
Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen and baking equipment.
Ability to read and follow recipes.
Ability to follow workplace direction, multi-task and work well with coworkers and management.
Availability to work evenings and early morning shifts, weekends, and most holidays.
Constant use of hands which includes simple and power grasping.
Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching required.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must follow safe food handling procedures.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must obtain a County Food Worker Card upon hiring.
